Overview

As a Retail Apprentice Travel Advisor at TUI in TUI Airways's Merthyr store, you will gain invaluable insights into the travel industry. This two-year Apprenticeship Scheme is designed to transform you into a destination expert, enabling you to recommend and sell holidays, cruises, UK breaks, and additional products. Your primary focus will be on creating unforgettable holiday experiences for TUI Airways's customers.

Responsibilities

• Inspire customers and colleagues with your passion for travel.
• Achieve sales objectives, embracing the Retail philosophy of ‘Smashing your Targets’.
• Adapt to the dynamic nature of customer engagement, both in-person and virtually.
• Collaborate with colleagues to address any questions or complaints effectively.
• Receive training on various systems to enhance your skills and confidence in delivering exceptional customer service.
• Complete practical and written assignments through an online learning platform with the guidance of a dedicated learning coach, aiming for a Level 3 Travel Consultant qualification.

Candidate Profile

• Excellent customer service knowledge and a genuine passion for the tourism sector.
• Dedicated to achieving goals and obtaining a Level 3 Travel Consultant qualification.
• Self-motivated, positive, and responsive to feedback.
• Team-oriented, engaging with customers and colleagues alike.
• Organized, taking pride in your work and communicating effectively.
• GCSEs in English and Maths at grade 9-4 or equivalent.
• Able to work varied shift patterns in accordance with store hours.
