Retail Area Manager

Overview

As a Retail Area Manager, you will be joining the Retail Stocktaking team on a full-time permanent basis. Your primary responsibility will be to provide focus, support, and leadership to a designated field management team, ensuring that the service and quality expectations of C2 Recruitment Limited's customers are consistently met.

Responsibilities

• Drive productivity & efficiency in all operational areas.
• Develop and motivate effective count management teams to deliver an efficient and quality service to customers.
• Maximise profitability while promoting employee development.
• Support retail stock counts in the field, with occasional travel and overnight stays.
• Liaise with Regional Business Managers and the Scheduling & Deployment department to identify any requirement shortfall.
• Support other regions and business units as needed.
• Ensure the right number of colleagues is available in the region to meet business requirements.
• Recruit, train, and coach Count Managers and Supervisors within the region.
• Overseas travel may be required at times.
• Work closely with customers to maintain relationships.

Personal Specification

• Knowledge of retail and management roles.
• Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of service delivery.
• Ability to present authoritatively to senior management, external bodies, customers, and authorities.
• Ambition for career progression into the next management role.

Salary and Benefits

Your salary will be £32,500 per year, complemented by an additional £290 monthly car allowance.

Working Hours

This role is full-time, with a commitment to ensuring operational efficiency across the designated regions.
