Fife Council will be available to discuss the vacancies Fife Council have on offer and share insights into what it's like to work with the council. Attendees can also receive support from Fife Council's job clubs and employability teams, including assistance with the online application process.
Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for skilled and enthusiastic individuals to join Fife Council's care home team in Fife Council’s Residential and Day Services.
Working Pattern
The successful candidate will work on a relief/casual basis, which includes early shifts, late shifts, and periods of night duty. Unsocial hours will be compensated at the basic rate plus an additional 1/3 hourly rate.
Responsibilities
- Provide positive support and encouragement to residents, enabling them to make their own choices and decisions in all aspects of daily life.
- Offer flexible support to help service users access activities and achieve personal outcomes.
- Promote social inclusion and work with individuals to maximize their personal independence and wellbeing.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate must:
- Have or be working towards the required qualification as mandated by the Scottish Social Services Council.
- Provide care and support that meets the Health and Social Care standards.
- Collaborate effectively with other Council services and partner agencies.
- Demonstrate flexibility and creativity within a dynamic team.
