Main Duties and Requirements:

  • Promote, safeguard, and protect the welfare of Dove Adolescent Services's young people.
  • Establish and maintain positive and trusting relationships.
  • Encourage the development of individual interests.
  • Desire to learn; full training is provided to achieve a Childcare Diploma Level 3/Apprenticeship Level 4.

What Dove Adolescent Services Need From You:

  • Experience supporting vulnerable young people is desired but not essential.
  • Understanding and commitment to the role, including some weekends and bank holidays.
  • Undertake sleep-in duties as part of a flexible rota.
  • Participate in activities, ensuring a homely environment for young people.
  • Capability to work independently.
  • Good interpersonal skills and a positive team player.
  • Desire to engage, motivate, and encourage young people.
