Kent County Council’s Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking (UAS) Children’s Service provides essential support and accommodation for newly arrived UAS children in Kent. This role involves working at Memona Lodge, Kent’s longest-running Reception Centre, supporting children aged 16-17 years with a capacity of up to 50 children.
As a Reception Centre Worker, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing daily routines and facilitating a supportive environment.
- Setting goals for young residents to aid their development.
- Providing direct support to children facing trauma.
- Working across a rolling shift pattern with weekend coverage.
