About the Position:
The Limes Reception Centre is seeking passionate individuals to join its team. This exciting role involves providing support to Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking (UAS) children aged 16-17 years old. The Limes is a newly established reception centre located in Dartford, Kent, accommodating up to 50 children.
Role Responsibilities
As a Reception Centre Worker, you will play a crucial role in managing the daily routines and supporting the emotional and social needs of UAS children. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct support in a residential setting.
- Facilitating a learning culture within the centre.
- Setting goals and assisting with time management for the children.
- Building trust and relationships with the children to aid their resettlement journey.
- Working across a rolling shift pattern with alternating weekly shifts and weekend cover.
Salary and Benefits
The remuneration for this role is competitive, with a basic salary ranging from £26,515 to £28,850 per annum. Additional benefits include:
