Job Overview

As a Retail Merchandising Driver, you will work in major retailers nationwide, providing transport and accommodation for a team of merchandisers tasked with replenishing shelves.

Key Responsibilities

• Merchandise and replenish shelves using planograms within a set timescale.
• Profile shelving and install equipment to a high standard.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and general housekeeping.
• Lifting and manual handling of items up to 25kgs as required.

Working Conditions

Shifts typically last 11 hours, including a 1-hour unpaid break and a 30-minute paid break. Flexibility is essential as work may involve traveling and staying away from home.

Salary and Benefits

• Starting pay rate: £11.44 per hour.
• Weekly pay with opportunities for continuous work based on performance.
• Shared accommodation provided when staying away from home.
• Driving to Success Scheme: Earn an additional 50p per hour for transporting two or more passengers.
• Uniform and pre-paid accommodation with breakfast included.

Requirements

• Must hold a full UK driving licence and be over 23 years old.
• At least two years of driving experience required for insurance purposes.
• Knowledge of retailing and experience with planograms is beneficial.
• A 13-week training program is available for those with a positive work attitude.
• Fast-track available for candidates with previous experience in systems, merchandising, or team leadership.

Location

This position is field-based with regional assignments. Expect occasional travel and overnight stays.
