Recycling Operative, Night Shift

Overview

The role of a Recycling Operative involves overseeing the sorting, collection, and disposal of waste materials in the warehouse. Key responsibilities include:

• Unloading cages and equipment returning from store deliveries
• Sorting recyclable materials using balers and compactors
• Transporting cages to warehouse locations
• Coordinating with stock control on non-recoverable goods
• Performing duties within other warehouse functions as needed
• Maintaining attention to detail and high presentation standards

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Numerate and literate
• Experience in warehousing and distribution
• Ability to work in a cold environment
