Job Summary

Within Connections 2 Independence's new Residential Children's Home, you will care for and support children and young people, engaging in their Care and Support Planning. Your role will include safeguarding, maintaining professional standards, and ensuring effective communication with families and professionals.

Main Responsibilities:

• Understand and adhere to Children’s Home Regulations 2015.
• Ensure the safeguarding of children and young people.
• Participate in training and team meetings as required.
• Maintain accurate daily recordings and update care plans.
• Support children in building confidence and self-esteem.
• Manage appointments and contribute to monthly reports.
• Promote a positive image of Connections 2 Independence.

Shift and Schedule:

• Overtime availability
• Weekend work required

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience with vulnerable children and young people.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and IT skills.
• Driving Licence and access to transport.
