Overview

Job Summary:

Within Connections 2 Independence's new Residential Children's Home, you will care for and support each child and young person. This involves participating in their Care and Support Planning, considering their views, wishes, feelings, and health needs.

Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safeguarding of children and young people.
• Assist in meeting the needs of Connections 2 Independence's children.
• Maintain high professional standards and adhere to policies and procedures.
• Complete Risk Assessments and Care Plans.
• Support children in building confidence and self-esteem.
• Participate in training and team meetings.
• Manage appointments and maintain records.
• Promote a positive image of the organization.

Skills and Qualifications:

• A Can-Do Approach.
• Flexibility and creativity.
• Excellent communication skills.
• IT literacy in Word, Excel, and case management databases.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
• GCSE Grade C or above in English & Maths.
