Cook Trading Limited is looking for Retail Team Members and Casual Team Members to join Cook Trading Limited's new shop opening in Christchurch. Various shifts are available.

Due to some lone working, you will need to be over 18.

Your Team

Support your Shop Manager and Team members by being an active part of the team, willing to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in. Together, Cook Trading Limited create a remarkable shop experience.

The Role

• Offer remarkable service; the customer is always more important than anything else you are doing.
• Use your knowledge to help customers plan menus or advise on catering for occasions. Talk to customers about upcoming offers, products, and promotions.
• Ensure the shop always looks immaculate, clean and spotless. Stock is replenished and rotated, and the freezers are full.
• Operate the till efficiently and accurately.
• Understand the shop paperwork, necessary legal checks, and their purpose.
• Open and close the shop, including cashing up.
• Check in deliveries, assist with stock taking as required.
• Maintain a smart appearance with an apron and name badge at all times.

Good to Have

If you are a foodie, that’s great! Cook Trading Limited will train you to know Cook Trading Limited's products, including how and where they are made, and to understand what dishes suit which occasions. Experience is not necessary, but previous retail or customer-facing experience would be an advantage.
