Turning Point is excited to announce a rare opportunity for a Recovery Worker in Nottingham County. In this role, you will help shape a new service dedicated to supporting individuals with complex mental health needs.

Job Overview

Wood Street offers supported living services, providing accommodation and support for individuals with dual diagnoses, a history of substance use, and/or forensic backgrounds. As a Recovery Worker, your passion for helping others will empower individuals to gain essential life skills for independent living.

Role Responsibilities

You will:

  • Provide recovery-focused interventions through key working and group sessions.
  • Develop individualized support and risk management plans.
  • Assist with effective discharge planning.
  • Encourage positive change and independence in clients’ lives.

This role requires a commitment to a 24-hour rolling rota, which includes day, evening, and waking night shifts, along with alternate weekends.

  • Experience in the mental health sector.
  • A solid understanding of the recovery model.
