Senior Aquarist

Overview

The UK’s largest SEA LIFE site has a new opportunity to come and work in this iconic London location. SEA LIFE’re looking to recruit a new Senior Aquarist to join SEA LIFE's team!

You will care for a diverse range of animals, including sharks, stingrays, and the longest live coral reef exhibit in the UK. Your role includes ensuring high levels of animal health and welfare, performing routine maintenance on filtration systems, and providing 24-hour alarm cover on a rota basis.

Qualifications & Experience:

• An experienced aquarist
• Demonstrable experience of animal husbandry with freshwater and marine animals
• Great communication skills
• Team player with leadership abilities
• Skills in animal training and enrichment
• A qualification in animal care or marine biology
• A dive qualification is advantageous
