Overview

We are looking for student ambassadors to help us welcome new students joining Central Saint Martins in September 2023!
 

You will be responsible for:

  •  Welcoming students to Central Saint Martins and being a friendly first point of contact as they arrive
  •  Handing out stickers to grant new students access to our building
  • Distributing ID cards to students at the card collection points
  • Helping students to find rooms and navigate the building
  • Assisting our enrolment team with administration on our welcome desk
  • Helping out at welcome events as required   
Dates, location and hours
We are looking for Ambassadors to support throughout the welcome period in September. Each shift will last around 4-6 hours.
 7 September (King’s Cross) - welcoming new Foundation students to CSM
 11 September (Archway) - supporting with the first day of teaching at Archway
 18-22 September (King’s Cross) - welcoming new students to CSM
 25-29 September (King’s Cross) - supporting new students during the first week of teaching

Personal Specification

Personal Specification 

We are looking for current students or recent graduates who are:

  • Confident at speaking to new students who they do not know
  • Confident at approaching students who might need assistance and offering to help
  • Friendly and welcoming - you might be the first person a new student speaks to, and we want them to have a great experience
  • Have a good working knowledge of our King's Cross building and understand how to locate different rooms using our room number system
  • Punctual - you will need to start as early as 8.30am in the morning and be on time every day
  • Students who speak additional languages are encouraged to apply – please specify in your cover note

Please include a short note detailing:
  • The dates you are available
  • The language(s) you speak
  • The course you are studying/studied
  • If you studied Foundation at Archway, or have knowledge of the space there, please specify
