Practice Plus Group have an exciting opportunity for a Speech and Language Therapist to join Practice Plus Group's Primary Care team at HMP YOI Moorland, a category C men's Prison and Young Offenders Institution, near Hatfield Woodhouse in South Yorkshire. Within this role, you will be working across Practice Plus Group's South Yorkshire Cluster of prisons, including HMP YOI Moorland, HMP YOI Doncaster, HMP Lindholme, and HMP Hatfield.
Ready to deliver quality healthcare in some of the most challenging environments? The dedicated team in the Health in Justice division of the Practice Plus Group makes a real difference across over 45 prisons, young offenders, and immigration removal centres.
Main Duties
- Utilize expert clinical skills and take a holistic approach to patient-centered care.
- Deliver a comprehensive speech and language therapy service to your caseload within the prison, including specialist assessments and differential diagnosis.
- Provide outstanding evidence-based care, listening to and acting on patient feedback to ensure personalized treatment.
- Offer clinical leadership for the speech and language pathway within the prison.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of registered and non-registered professionals.

Qualifications Required
- Established speech and language therapist with experience in pathway development.
- Experience within a large multi-disciplinary team, preferably across multiple locations.
- Excellent partnership building, time management, and organizational skills.
- Understanding of clinical governance and health and safety.
