Job Responsibilities

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, creating a nurturing atmosphere for residents, visitors, and staff. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, ensuring that any changes impacting care plans are addressed.
  • Involvement in the person-centred care planning process through implementation and monthly evaluations.
  • Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
  • Conducting staff supervisions and fostering staff development.
  • Acting as a primary contact for residents, their relatives, and health professionals, ensuring all reasonable requests are fulfilled.

About You

  • Hold an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care.
  • Have 2 years of experience in a similar care environment.

  • Be flexible in covering a range of responsibilities.
