Supply Chain Business Administrator Apprentice

Eaton is currently looking for a Business Administrator Apprentice to join Eaton's Supply Chain team. What you’ll do:
Location: Sutton-in-Ashfield, UK
The Supply Chain Business Administration Apprentice will be responsible for supporting all aspects of purchasing and planning administration, including but not limited to:
- Running of daily reports including overdue purchase orders, orderbooks, and planning reports.
- Chasing order confirmations and expediting deliveries.
- Placing ad hoc indirect purchase orders for non-production items.
- Reviewing production orders to identify critical production parts required to meet a production plan.
- Supporting with production planning reports.
- Assisting with vendor tickets in SAP.
- Supporting both buyers and planners with ad hoc administrative tasks.
- Maintaining organised files and records of business activity.
- Involvement in cost-saving projects.
- Looking at process improvements.
- Any other tasks as requested by management.
Hours of Work:
8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
Training:
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.
Training course: Business Administrator (Level 3)
Qualifications:
- Minimum of Grade 4 in GCSE Maths and English.
Skills:
- Excellent organisational and administration skills are essential.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
- Innovative – able to spot areas for improvement.
