Senior Clinical Team Support Co-ordinator

Posted:An exciting opportunity has arisen for a hard-working, reliable individual with effective administrative skills to join the team of midwifery staff and managers at Leicester General Hospital Maternity Unit. This role involves supporting the Senior Midwife, Ward Managers, and Band 7 Co-ordinators in achieving service delivery in a clinical capacity.
Main Duties of the Job
- Supporting the team with reviewing the Off Duty and weekly coordination.
- Co-ordination and carrying out appraisals.
- Arranging and coordinating meetings; taking and sharing minutes and action plans.
- Managing the diaries of the Senior Midwife and Senior Clinical team.
- Providing administrative support with Trust initiatives such as infection prevention.
- Maintaining confidentiality of both staff and patients at all times.

Person Specification
Essential Training & Qualifications
- Educated to GCSE level in English & Maths (or equivalent)
- NVQ Level III in Business Administration (or equivalent)
Experience
- 2 years' experience in standard office practices and procedures.
- Knowledge of using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience of taking minutes.
Communication & Relationship Skills
- Demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to maintain effective communication with the healthcare team.
Analytical and Judgement Skills
- Understanding confidentiality within a sensitive environment.
