Overview

Ben Recruitment Ltd is seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Coordinator WCR4 to join Ben Recruitment Ltd's team, committed to creating an inclusive environment for all students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of strategies that promote positive outcomes for students requiring additional support.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of the SEN policy and ensure its implementation across the school.
• Conduct assessments and reviews of students with SEN to establish their needs and adapt learning strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with teachers to create and monitor personalized education plans (PEPs) for students with special educational needs.
• Act as a liaison between parents, teachers, and external professionals to support student development and well-being.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of SEN provision and implement improvements where necessary.
• Provide training and support to staff on best practices for meeting the needs of students with SEN.
• Manage the SEN budget and allocate resources effectively to support student needs.

Requirements

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) and relevant experience in SEN coordination.
• Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and related legislation.
• Experience in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with various stakeholders.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team while fostering collaboration.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.
• A commitment to promoting inclusive education and ensuring that all students can thrive.

Pay Rate: £215.13
