So Bar Richmond is seeking a vigilant and professional Door Supervisor to join So Bar Richmond's team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for both staff and patrons. As a Door Supervisor, you will be responsible for monitoring entry and exit points, ensuring compliance with licensing laws, and providing excellent customer service while upholding the highest standards of safety.

Duties

• Monitor the entrance and exit of guests to ensure a secure environment.
• Conduct thorough checks of identification to verify age and prevent underage entry.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage.
• Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, providing first aid when necessary.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting patrons with inquiries or concerns.
• Position will require you to confidently talk and invite guests into So Bar Richmond's bar.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a security or supervisory role is desirable.
• Certification in First Aid is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of loss prevention techniques is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals.
• A professional appearance and demeanour, reflecting the standards of the venue.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations.

Shift Patterns:

• Friday 6pm - 1.30am
• Saturday 6pm - 1.30am
• Thursday 7pm - 1.30am (December only)
