Are you a self-employed driver looking for flexible work? Menzies Distribution is seeking reliable drivers to join Menzies Distribution's team in Stockton-on-Tees, delivering on behalf of Menzies Distribution Limited to Menzies Distribution's news retailers and lockers.

Menzies Distribution offer flexible contract options, including 5, 6, or 7-day working weeks, as well as weekend-only shifts for those seeking Saturday and Sunday work.

Key Details

• Pay: £750+ per week, plus extra work available
• Hours: 3am Start
• Location: Stockton-on-Tees

Requirements

• Vehicle: You must have your own 3.5T van (Transit or similar) and necessary insurances, including Goods in Transit, Public Liability, and Hire & Reward.
• If you do not currently own or have access to a vehicle, you need to be financially able to lease or purchase one.

Your Role

• Safely load your van according to legal requirements.
• Deliver goods to lockers or directly to customers efficiently and on time.
• Ensure the security of your vehicle and goods while in transit.
• Attempt and collect from the same locations every day (subject to routing and growth).
• Complete all necessary paperwork according to company guidelines.
• Adhere to all company procedures and policies.

What Menzies Distribution’re Looking For

• Full UK driving licence, held for at least 2 years (no more than 6 points).
• 21 years of age or older, with no previous driving disqualifications (NI, DD, or DR).
• Solid local knowledge of commercial areas and streets.
• Physically fit to handle the demands of multi-drop driving and warehouse duties.
• Hardworking, with a positive, flexible attitude.
