About the Role

ASOS's finance function operates at the heart of ASOS, controlling cash flow and supporting business decisions to help ASOS become a global online fashion leader.

Financial Accounting

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of Capex operations, including Tech Capex.
  • Own all Capex financial entries, manage the Fixed Asset Register, and oversee depreciation and accruals.
  • Prepare Capex reports and present summary information to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS standards for Capex and provide guidance as needed.
  • Assist in the delivery of audit information for both internal and external audits.
  • Continuously improve accounting policies and processes related to the Fixed Asset Register.

Financial Control

  • Prepare and improve Balance Sheet reconciliations for Capex at month-end.
  • Document and update financial controls and processes for Capex areas.
  • Analyze potential process weaknesses and work with the business to implement improvements.
  • Keep accounting memos and policies current with changes in Capex policies.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects as required by the Finance Manager.
