Shop Floor Assistant

Overview

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in the shop and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain a clean and organized shop environment.
• Stock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed.
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately.
• Answer phone calls and address customer inquiries.
• Upsell products and promote special offers or promotions.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets.

Requirements:

• Strong organizational skills to maintain a tidy shop and manage inventory.
• Excellent time management to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficient in English for effective communication with customers and team members.
• Upselling skills to promote additional products to customers.
• Phone etiquette to handle customer inquiries professionally.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
• Spanish language skills are a plus, but not required.
