DirectAccessLtd is seeking a skilled Scaffold Builder to join DirectAccessLtd's team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction and have experience with various building techniques. As a Scaffold Builder, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient assembly, maintenance, and dismantling of scaffolding structures on-site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.

Duties

• Fabricate scaffolding components according to specifications and project requirements.
• Assemble and disassemble scaffolding systems using power tools and hand tools.
• Collaborate with other trades such as carpenters, electricians, and masons to ensure seamless integration of scaffolding with ongoing construction activities.
• Conduct inspections of scaffolding structures to ensure stability and safety before use.
• Perform maintenance on scaffolding equipment, including cleaning and repairing as necessary.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist in training new team members on proper scaffold building techniques and safety practices.

Requirements

• Experience within a similar role.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
• Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively on-site.
• Physical fitness to handle the demands of the role, including lifting heavy materials and working at heights.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £12.50 - £14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
