Overview

Join Barclays as a SI Linux System Administrator within the Market Data team supporting a Unix tower, involved in specialized administration projects such as building Kubernetes environments and setting AI infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Development, delivery, and maintenance of high-quality infrastructure solutions ensuring reliability and performance.
• Monitoring of IT infrastructure to identify and resolve issues.
• Development of automated tasks to improve efficiency.
• Implementation of secure configurations against cyber threats.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to define IT Infrastructure requirements.
• Continuous learning and contribution to technology communities.

Qualifications:

• Expert knowledge of Redhat Products, especially RHEL 7/8/9.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Chef or Ansible.
• Proficiency in scripting and automating tasks.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes operations.
• Experience in the financial sector is preferable.
