Senior Land Surveyor

A brilliant opportunity has arisen for one of Tailored Talent Ltd's well-established clients based in the West Midlands that operate as market leaders in mobile mapping and Geomatic surveying. Their focus is on larger scale projects using the latest digital technology, with a mission to deliver a professional and personal service, regulated at all times by RICS controls and underpinned by strong ethical standards.

Due to a large influx of work, they are now looking for Land Surveyors at various experience levels to join the team. Your role will involve supporting Senior Surveyors and Project Managers to conduct surveys in different environments. The types of survey tasks you will carry out include:

• Topographic surveys
• Utility surveys
• Mobile mapping
• Laser scanning
• Office data processing

The sectors in which they specialize include:

• Rail and guided transport
• Highways and bridges
• Aviation and airside
• Estates and property
• Energy & utilities
• Environmental & marine

Responsibilities & Duties

• Undertaking topographic/utilities/mobile mapping surveys
• Conducting total station and GPS/GNSS observations
• Managing survey teams onsite
• Mentoring and training less experienced team members
• Assisting in the overall development of the survey department
• Adhering to company manuals and processes
• Ensuring QA/QC compliance

Experience & Qualification

• PTS and CSCS accreditations are required
• Experience carrying out topographical surveys
• Experience using Robotic Total Stations & GNSS
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software
• Full UK driving licence
• Right to work in the UK
