Hiring range: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum

The team
The Organic Social team commissions and produces all output for ITV & ITVX social media channels.
The Reactive Social team is responsible for using data and insights to strategically drive conversation, relevance and engagement across ITV and ITVX.
This role will work across reactive social activity. They will create and publish content to appeal and engage with audiences and connect trending moments to ITV and ITVX in a modern and authentic way.
The role
- Using your expertise and knowledge, help plan and publish best-in-class reactive, audience-led content, ensuring ITV remains at the forefront of excellence and innovation.
- Work alongside the Social Media Managers to ensure the organic social activity is relevant and to a high standard.
- Be creative and agile in a fast moving environment to maximise opportunities for connect trending moments to the brand
- Idiate, create and publish video, image and text content to a strict timeline supporting Reactive activity and campaigns, ensuring it meets set objectives and KPIs
- Work closely with Reactive Lead to ensure content is on brand, compliant and, importantly, drives outcome-led goals.
- Understand the interests and needs of our communities, engage with our audience, and ensure that our platforms remain a positive and productive space.
- Work with the data and insights tools to discover what pieces of content are performing best and feedback across the lifecycle of a campaign to keep our approach evolving and, importantly, innovating.
- Embrace and apply a test and learn approach to continually drive learnings and improvement.
- Work closely with Reactive Lead to ensure that in-series activity complements the Proactive approach and supports overarching objectives.
- Be obsessed with all things social and stay abreast of latest platform developments and trending activity to identify opportunities for organic social to jump on.
- Create healthy and collaborative relationships across PR, production and other social media teams.
- Work closely with talent, influencers, content creators and contributors, inspiring and encouraging them to support the social ambitions of each campaign.
- Have a strong awareness of legal, commercial and OFCOM regulations.
- Initiative to go above and beyond what is asked of them, to demonstrate enthusiasm for their role in the organic social team.
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
- Previous experience working in Digital production for a media publisher or agency is preferred
- An understanding of organic social content is essential
- Demonstrable experience of working on social media campaigns is essential
- Experience of working with production (TV, Radio, Digital, Agency etc) teams is preferred
- Experience of creating social media content is essential Experience publishing content across digital platforms
- Experience making basic video, image and text content for digital platforms at a major brand
- Experience using data to inform decisions about what content to publish, when and where
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances
- Excellent editorial judgement
- Excellent copywriting, spelling and grammar skills
- Can-do, self-starter attitude who can work independently to get things done.
