Responsibilities
- Recruit and train employees according to the Subway® brand’s standards, leading by example.
- Create and manage staff schedules.
- Check deliveries, ensure order matching, and manage daily banking.
- Prepare necessary paperwork related to stock and sales, including employee pay and timesheets.
- Manage cash balances and minimize wastage.
- Ensure compliance with Subway® and local council guidelines.
- Perform inventory management and stock control, including weekly stock takes and reports.
- Analyze the Weekly Sales & Inventory Report to identify areas for business improvement.
- Direct and oversee housekeeping activities to maintain store cleanliness and presentation.
- Implement in-store marketing materials in alignment with promotional campaigns.
- Follow safety procedures to prevent injuries.
- Provide a safe work environment for both employees and customers.
- Promote and encourage high levels of customer service among employees.
- Handle unresolved customer complaints effectively.
- Deliver high standards of service in product handling, sales, inquiries, and catering to customer needs.
Qualifications
You may currently hold a position as a Catering Manager, Store Manager, or Restaurant Manager. Alternatively, experienced Supervisors, Assistant Managers, or Deputy Managers seeking advancement are encouraged to apply. Candidates with management experience in a fast-paced retail environment are especially welcome.
