About the Role

As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of Securitas's clients. Your responsibilities include:

• Preventing and deterring unauthorized access to the site.
• Monitoring fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV.
• Conducting external and internal security patrols.
• Maintaining logbooks and records, ensuring all paperwork is completed timely.
• Recording and reporting all faults, health, and safety hazards.
• Switching off unnecessary lights and closing windows during patrols.
• Delivering outstanding customer service.
• Presenting yourself to maintain the image of Securitas and the client.
• Identifying opportunities for improving practices.
• Undertaking any other duties as requested by management.

Shift and Schedule

Full-time position with a shift pattern of 4 on 2 off (days only).

Essential Skills

• Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history.
• Full SIA Licence.
• 1 year of security experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
