Stores Person

Overview

Are you an experienced Stores Person with a valid FLT licence or someone with a strong background in a Construction/Warehouse environment looking for a new challenge? Omega Red Group is looking for you!

About the Role:

As the dedicated Stores Person for Omega Red Group's Manchester branch, you will be required to:

• Maintain stock levels (taking receipt of deliveries and off-loading materials).
• Prepare materials for issue and collection while ensuring the stores area is safe and organized.
• Keep electronic systems and records up to date in relation to materials and training records for employees.
• Conduct health and safety checks such as PA testing and inspections (training will be provided).

What You’ll Need:

• Self-motivated with a “roll your sleeves up” attitude.
• A background within stores or logistics.
• Experience in a general stores environment and understanding of the construction industry is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving skills and excellent organizational and IT skills.
• A full and valid driving licence.
• Forklift licence (category - B1 counterbalance).
