Job Overview
Birmingham City Council is looking for a passionate and dedicated SEND Quality & Improvement Manager to join Birmingham City Council's team, committed to improving the lives of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead quality assurance, monitoring, and service evaluation to identify and implement opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare and coordinate evidence for Ofsted and other statutory inspections.
- Maintain strategic data intelligence and reporting frameworks to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory duties.
- Oversee the recruitment and professional development of staff within the SENAR team.
- Implement performance management practices to recognize success and address areas of concern.
- Focus on relationship-based customer care to build trust with families and stakeholders.
