Your Trusted Responsibilities:

A vacancy for an office-based service and repair scheduler is now available. The right candidate will effectively plan and coordinate the schedules of field engineers, ensuring timely and high-quality completion of repairs and services. This role involves:

• Liaising with customers to book appointments and understand their service needs.
• Coordinating with engineers to assign jobs based on skills, availability, and location.
• Optimizing resource utilization and maintaining clear communication with customers and the engineering team.

Essential Skills:

• Experience in a similar role planning and scheduling resources.
• Excellent customer service and telephone skills.
• Adaptable, effective learner with strong organizational skills.
• Self-motivated and confident team player.
• Computer literacy is a must.
• Strong geographical knowledge of the UK.

Core Responsibilities:

• Communicating with customers to set appointments.
• Diagnosing faults and continuously reviewing work requests.
• Maintaining a computerized system for job plans, reports, and invoicing.
• Tracking work orders to completion and auditing completed works for improvements.
• Ordering and coordinating spare parts for service and repair work.
• Monitoring warranty and service contract expiry dates.
• Liaising with finance regarding payment plans and outstanding payments.
• Implementing continual improvement processes.
