Seasonal Sales Assistant at Tesco

Overview

The Entertainer is looking for energetic and hard-working Seasonal Sales Assistants to join The Entertainer team working in Tesco New Oscott Extra. The Entertainer's exciting partnership with Tesco means that you can shop for your Top Trump cards and your Turkey as well as a fantastic range of toys in a Tesco Superstore or Extra this Christmas!

Based in this Tesco supermarket as a Tesco Seasonal Sales Assistant, you will be working with a small team to look after the toy aisles in The Entertainer's unique Entertainer branded space. You will be responsible for delivering a great shopping experience for The Entertainer's customers, keeping the shelves full and priced, while confidently answering any toy-related questions with your newly acquired toy knowledge.

With the support and guidance of your remote Entertainer Manager, you will have the expertise to work independently to carry out your main duties which include:

• Merchandising stock
• Replenishing the department
• Pricing and implementing promotions
• Keeping the toy offering up to date and well stocked

Having bucket loads of enthusiasm will help you in this unique role where self-motivation and pride in your work are key attributes.

Key Information about this role

• Working Hours - Flexibility to work Monday to Saturday, between the hours of 8am and 7pm
• Contracted weekly hours available – 12 hours per week
• Shift patterns and days will vary but will be notified in advance
• It is likely you will be offered overtime with this role

Your Key Responsibilities

• Merchandising, handling deliveries, replenishing stock and price management
• Start of shift bay checks for pricing, stock gaps and recovering general standards
• Replenishment of section, maintaining cleanliness and good organisation
• Maintain good communication with your colleagues and Line Manager
• Acknowledge customers in the aisles, making conversation and encouraging a sale using your awesome toy knowledge
