Vibrant Colour, a small, friendly print and promotional merchandise provider, is looking to recruit a part-time pre-sales administrator. Vibrant Colour deliver creative promotional solutions to a wide range of organisations, from charities and sole traders to training companies and publishers. Vibrant Colour's approach focuses on developing creative ways for businesses to engage, reward, and incentivise their customers.
Job Responsibilities
- Assess historic order data and identify potential repeat orders.
- Manage customer database, ensuring names and addresses are up to date.
- Identify potential customers and manage a ‘prospects’ database.
- Manage customer outreach programme, determining intervals and feeding enquiries into colleagues for potential sales opportunities.
- Log new enquiries into order system during busy periods.
- Follow up via email with customers who have unconfirmed quotes.
- Identify and reach out to potential new customers ahead of exhibitions.
- Curate and manage a database of exhibitions and events.
- Ensure customer event schedule is logged and updated, and planning begins ahead of time.
- Build out deadline schedules for customers ahead of events.
- Update and manage product data, pricing, and images with suppliers.
Requirements
- Ability to manage data on spreadsheets.
- Computer literate with various bespoke software.
- Attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently when required.
- Able to manage time and meet deadlines.
- Able to manage and prioritise multiple tasks.
Qualifications and Training
The successful candidate will be enrolled, at the company's expense, in a BPMA 'Trained in Promotional Merchandise' education scheme. Time will be given during working hours to complete this, and the candidate must finish the online training within 6 months of employment commencing. Future training opportunities may also be available.
Work Schedule
This role is 10-15 hours per week, split over days of your choice. The role is primarily office-based in Sawtry, PE28 5XQ, but may include occasional visits to exhibitions and business events, either as a visitor or exhibitor, and supplier factories in the UK. The office is rural, and you will need your own transport to reach it.
Remuneration and Benefits
The role offers £12.00 per hour, which increases annually in line with the Living Wage Foundation rate. Holiday pay will be on a pro-rata basis, including bank holidays and the Christmas break. Vibrant Colour also offer two paid volunteering days a year. After 6 months and a successful probation period, you can choose to opt in to a company pension and healthcare cash plan.

Schedule
- No weekends.
