Seasonal Sales Assistant

Overview

Dunelm, Rustington, Sales Assistant, £6.72 - £11.44 per hour

Dunelm's store in Rustington is looking for a minimum of 16 hours per week Sales Assistant to join Dunelm from September 2024 until February 2025. You will need to be fully flexible over the course of the week. The hours will be spread across the week but will include at least one evening and a Saturday or Sunday shift.

Pay:

• 16-17 years: £6.72 - £7.10
• 18+ years: £11.44 - £11.55

What you'll be doing

The role involves being trained in all aspects of customer-facing store life:

• Tills: Serving customers with purchases or returns and taking care to check that all items are complete and that fragile items are packed securely.
• Shop Floor: Assisting customers to find the products they are looking for and providing an excellent memorable service.
• Hosting: Using Dunelm's successful iPad systems to order products for home delivery and providing a fantastic Made To Measure service.
• Stock and Delivery: A physical role with some heavy lifting involved, focusing on merchandising and shop-floor replenishment.
