What Is the Opportunity?

As a Senior Syndicate Operations Associate, you will support The Travelers Companies, Inc.'s Underwriters and wider teams. Your expertise in London Market Underwriting or Operations will be crucial for driving The Travelers Companies, Inc.'s success. This role is designed for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, are eager to tackle complex challenges, and contribute to continuous growth. Enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement, with three days in the office and two days at home.

What Will You Do?

  • Perform data enrichment, importation, and geocoding of location-level risk data.
  • Analyse and monitor receipts for Schedules of Values and Bordereaux.
  • Prepare underwriting/pricing exhibits in the Benchmark Pricing Tool.
  • Support Underwriters with their renewal portfolio.
  • Assist with completion of reports for various internal meetings.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory and internal reporting deadlines.
  • Support training delivery to the Offshore team.
  • Conduct quality assurance on work conducted by team members.
  • Act ethically and maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What Will The Travelers Companies, Inc.'s Ideal Candidate Have?

  • A working knowledge of systems change and project processes.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Comfortable working with various computer applications.
  • Strong numeracy skills.
  • Preferably completed Certificate CII.

What is a Must Have?

  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent with experience in the insurance industry.
