Work Pattern and Shifts

In Peterborough City Council's team, you will typically be on duty once every three weeks, allowing for two weeks off duty to focus on your ongoing casework.

Education and Skills Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • A degree in social care with significant post-qualification experience and current SWE registration.
  • Expertise in the legislative framework governing multi-agency children’s services.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and leadership experience.
  • An understanding of political contexts related to social care.
  • Proven ability to support staff in performance management and meet KPIs.
  • Experience in leading change within an organization.
