Role Overview
Croydon Council is looking for a qualified and experienced sessional tutor and assessor in Care qualifications. The role involves teaching and assessing from Entry Level 3 to Level 4/5, along with delivering employability-based courses and supporting staff in resource preparation.
Responsibilities
- Teach and assess students in Care qualifications from E3 to Level 4/5.
- Deliver employability-based courses as needed.
- Support staff in preparing learning resources.
- Attend induction sessions, team meetings, and standardization meetings.
- Work at various venues in Croydon, with some evening and Saturday work as required.
Qualifications
Applicants must have:
- Teaching qualifications for accredited Care courses.
- Experience as a qualified assessor, including independent assessing experience.
- Flexibility to adapt to curriculum needs.
Pay and Benefits
The hourly pay ranges from £15.49 to £30.01 depending on qualifications and experience. The position offers:
- Full-time hours throughout the year (52 weeks) with holiday entitlement.
