Job Summary
Acorn Care and Education is looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join Acorn Care and Education's fantastic team at Lamledge School. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support Acorn Care and Education's Teachers to take a creative approach to SEN teaching pupils according to their educational needs, maximizing pupils’ achievement and ability to develop.
Responsibilities
- Support individual and small groups of pupils.
- Prepare classrooms and materials.
- Build positive relationships with pupils to promote interaction and learning.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons in a creative and positive setting.
Requirements
- Educated to GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English.
- Experience in a SEN environment is desirable.
- Excellent support skills and personal qualities such as resilience.
