Overview

As a Trainer at Amazon, you’ll play a central role in onboarding and upskilling Amazon UK Services Ltd.'s employees. It will be up to you to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to stay safe, be efficient, and enjoy professional growth at Amazon, potentially becoming one of Amazon UK Services Ltd.'s future leaders.

You will deliver high-quality training that outlines safety, culture, and site-specific procedures to Amazon employees as well as external partners. You’ll work with people at every stage of their career, from new hires to managers. This is a night shift position (Sun-Wed).

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver training and coaching to Amazon’s standards.
  • Review and improve site-training completion rates together with managers and associates.
  • Gather feedback and highlight areas for streamlining or improving the training experience.
  • Work with teams to identify further training and development needs.
  • Help audit metrics such as safety, quality, and process across sites.
  • Train and coach associates to become ambassadors who can assist with coaching and training local teams.

A Day in the Life

The role of Trainer is about sharing and upholding Amazon UK Services Ltd.'s process standards. You’ll ensure everyone adheres to the highest operating standards and constructively deliver feedback that helps learners grow and develop. You’ll be based on-site at one of Amazon UK Services Ltd.'s operational facilities, providing in-person and online training across various shift patterns.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a coaching, mentoring, or teaching role.
  • Relevant experience managing multiple, competing priorities concurrently.

Skills and Experience Requirements

Relevant experience using clear communication and delivering training, along with creating corresponding communications and training materials is essential. Proficiency in the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment is required, alongside advanced proficiency in the local language (C1 CEFR).
