Overview

We are looking for Support Workers to join our Housing Services in Banbridge, Northern Ireland.

What does a Support Worker do?

Supporting people to live independently - paying bills, housework, organising appointments
Support person with their needs - so they can be as independent as possible and have a good quality of life.
General Personal care - helping people to get ready for the day and assisting if required with bathing, showering and using the bathroom.
Community & Social Inclusion - support people to access their local community, go to Church, the gym, see family, friends.

At Mencap we work in partnership with people with a learning disability. We do this by providing high quality, flexible services that support people, including young adults, to live as independently as possible in their own homes and in the community.
