Job Role

Coventry City Council is looking for a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join Coventry City Council's Children in Care team. You will support children and young people in care, ensuring they achieve permanency and stability in their lives. This includes working closely with families, carers, and professionals to develop and implement care plans tailored to each child's needs.

Your experience in progressing children through to permanency, including handling complex cases and making recommendations for various permanency options, is essential. A thorough understanding of court processes is required as you will attend court hearings and provide high-quality reports.

You should have a proven track record in child protection and care planning, with significant experience managing cases that involve court proceedings.
