Summary

At Charlton Road, Discovery is a small friendly team always looking to enhance the lives of the people Discovery support. Discovery take every opportunity to support people to live the lives they want through active engagement and meaningful lives. Drivers are preferred.

Location

Charlton Road is just a 10-minute walk through Collect Park to Shepton Mallet town centre, which has cafes, pubs, a library, and various other amenities including a large Tesco, Boots, and Argos. The famous Whitstone Fish and Chip restaurant and takeaway is just around the corner along with the local Coop shop with ATM. The bus stop to and from Frome is across the road, and buses to and from Wells and Glastonbury are from the main station next to Tesco. Grove Court is on the other side of town but has equal access to all the facilities just 10 minutes walk again with the main bus station by Tesco.

Discovery don't wear uniforms (it's friendlier that way).

About Disability Confident

A Disability Confident employer will generally offer an interview to any applicant that declares they have a disability and meets the minimum criteria for the job as defined by the employer. It is important to note that in certain recruitment situations, such as high-volume, seasonal, and high-peak times, the employer may wish to limit the overall numbers of interviews offered to both disabled people and non-disabled people.
