A new and exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Women's and Children's Clinical Management Group, delivering expert nursing care to Gynaecology patients. The successful candidate will be highly motivated to improve patient care and experience with significant nursing experience in Gynaecology.
Main Duties of the Job
The ACP will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, offering expert advice and support to avoid patient admissions. This role comprises 80% clinical and 20% non-clinical hours for service development.
Job Responsibilities
- Integral member of the gynae-oncology team.
- Work under the direction of the Consultant in charge of patient care.
- Exercise independent judgement in patient assessments and treatments.
- Ensure evidence-based practice in care delivery.
- Triage referrals and make onward referrals as necessary.

Person Specification
- 4 years working within specialty (Essential).
- Educated to degree level (Essential).
- Highly developed communication skills (Essential).
- NMC training and assessment course or equivalent (Desirable).
- Evidence of autonomous practice (Desirable).
