Role Summary

As an experienced Occupational Therapist, you will provide expertise commensurate with your role, experience, and grade, acting as an invaluable resource to the team. St. Helens Council seek a well-motivated and enthusiastic HCPC registered Occupational Therapist with excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute specialist assessments and follow-on support for adults with disabilities.
• Facilitate discharge assessments in various care settings.
• Support smooth transitions for patients discharged from hospitals to care homes.

Requirements

• Understanding of complex physical disabilities and mental health conditions, particularly dementia.
• Experience in providing necessary equipment for clients.
• Good IT skills and knowledge of current moving and handling techniques.
