Trainee Accountant

Overview

CMA has an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Accountant to join a dynamic and supportive team at a well-established family business with exciting opportunities for growth and development.

As a Trainee Accountant, you will work closely with the Group Accountant and gain hands-on experience in various aspects of accounting, enjoying a clear path for progression.

Role Responsibilities

• Track and balance daily financial transactions in partnership with the finance team.
• Process bank entries and manage electronic payments across the organisation.
• Reconcile key financial accounts and assist with adjustments.
• Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Coordinate communication with financial institutions, branches, and other relevant parties.

Suitable Candidate

• Motivated to kickstart a career in finance and excited to work towards a professional qualification.
• A basic understanding of business or finance would be advantageous, though prior experience isn't required.
• Comfortable with IT tools, particularly Excel, and eager to further develop these skills on the job.
