Teaching Assistant

Overview

William Brookes School aim to enlist a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join William Brookes School's Learning Support Department. The role involves:

• Aiding students with specific needs in a classroom setting
• Providing necessary interventions
• Attending to personal requirements
• Assisting in the implementation of individual health and personal care programs

Strong communication skills and the ability to support learning and behaviour, especially among secondary age students, are preferred qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Support individual students in their learning and development.
• Collaborate with teachers to create tailored educational plans.
• Monitor and assess student progress.

Requirements

• Level 2 qualification in Teaching Assistance or equivalent.
• Experience working with children with special educational needs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Salary and Benefits

The salary ranges from £12.18 to £12.38 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
