Job Details

• Position: Teaching Assistant
• Hours: 30 hours per week, Term time only plus INSET days
• Grade: 3
• Salary: £11.79 per hour

Responsibilities

Support the learning and/or emotional needs of students on the Individual Needs register. This may involve personal care and includes:

• Supporting students in class and in intervention sessions
• Mentoring students
• Writing reports
• Attending support strategy meetings

Qualifications and Skills

The successful candidate will ideally be educated to Graduate level, although other relevant qualifications will be considered. West Sussex County Council - Schools seek a flexible person with a good standard of literacy and numeracy, who can relate well to others and is eager to make a difference in the lives of young people.
