Trainee/biomedical Scientist

Overview

Join Public Health Wales Microbiology as a Trainee/Biomedical Scientist. You will be part of an expanding team dedicated to delivering modern, rapid diagnostic services. In this role, you will work in the hot lab at The Grange Hospital with a 7-day rota.

Main Duties:

• Work collaboratively in a busy lab environment.
• Participate in shift working, including weekends and bank holidays.
• Contribute to a varied and challenging work atmosphere.

Qualifications and Skills:

Essential:

• Degree suitable for HCPC registration.
• Microbiology experience in a clinical lab.
• Competent using IT systems.

Desirable:

• Previous experience in NHS laboratory.
• HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist.
