Temp Family Advisor - North

Posted:Cheshire East Council have an exciting temporary part-time Family Advisor role in the North Locality until 31/3/2025.
The Family Advisor role is pivotal in supporting the Family Hub teams' delivery. Family hubs provide a universal ‘front door’ to families, offering a ‘one-stop shop’ of family help services across their social care, education, mental health, and physical health needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive enquiries from the public and professionals via various channels.
- Provide consistent advice, signposting, and guidance.
- Undertake administrative tasks including booking appointments and data entry.
- Use various ICT platforms for data entry and transaction recording.
Qualifications and Experience
You will need to be qualified at NVQ level 2 or above and have relevant experience dealing with the public, especially those who may be distressed or anxious.
Work Environment
Family hubs support children and young people from conception until they reach 19 years old (or up to 25 for those with SEND). They combine council, health, and community services for accessible support.
Salary and Benefits
The role offers a competitive salary of £23,500 - £23,893 per annum, pro rata. Flexible work arrangements and professional development opportunities are also provided.
